Memory Care Support Group

Community Life Staff, Brett Collins, MT-BC, and Brenna Horn will provide an overview of the types dementia and offer meaningful activities that persons with dementia and their loved ones can engage in together. Refreshments will be provided.

Hospice Basics and Hospice Eligibility

Providence Place is proud to partner with Grace Hospice to provide an introduction to hospice care. Grace Hospice is a faith-based, non-profit organization which serves people with terminal illnesses in the Twin Cities metro area of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

When: Thursday September 20th, 2018 at 12:00 pm

Where: Providence Place Senior Living

Lunch will be provided at no cost at 11:30 am.

Presenter Pete Cole is the Compliance, Quality and Education Coordinator with Grace Hospice in Minneapolis. Pete has over ten years of experience as a hospice nurse and has worked in both hospice management and hospice training. Pete has a passion for staff development, quality and regulatory compliance and believes that these elements all work together to build a stronger hospice team. He also has a strong interest in process improvement and has recieved his Lean Bronze Certification. Pete is also part of the MNHPC Health Equity Advisory Council and the MNHPC Education Committee. His nursing degree is from St. Catherine University.
